1. How can I apply for a loan with Homecomings?
We offer our customers two ways to apply: by calling 1.866.563.4315, or on the web using the convenient online application.
2. Why do I have to register before I apply online?
Your registration will make it easier for you to manage your activities and tasks through Homecomings. For example, you can save your application and continue it later, if necessary, and check your loan status once your application is submitted and begins to process.
Steps for registration:
Enter a user name of at least six characters. Your user name may contain numbers, but must contain at least one letter. For your security, we strongly suggest that you use a combination of numbers and letters, and that you do not use your name or any derivative of your name. Be sure to remember your user name for later use. User names are case-sensitive.
Enter a password of at least eight characters. Your password cannot be the same as your user name. You will need to confirm your password by re-entering it. Passwords are case-sensitive.
If you ever forget your password, we will need to validate your account before issuing a new one. To do that, we ask that you provide answers to three secret questions. The first two questions must be selected from the menus on the Registration page. You will create the third question on your own.
Enter your first name and last name.
Enter a valid email address. An email containing an Activation Code will be delivered to this email address. To protect your privacy, the same email address may not be used in more than one online registration. Based on your email correspondence preferences, your email address may also serve as a means to communicate directly with you.
If you already have a loan with Homecomings, enter your account number and Social Security number so that we can check your eligibility for discounts and other customer benefits. Your Social Security number will be used only to verify your loan status. For your protection, only one registration per Social Security number is permitted.
Click the "Continue" button.
You will be asked to confirm the information you entered. If you want to change the information, simply use the "Previous" button to return to the Registration page. When you are satisfied that all the information is correct, click the "Submit" button to begin your application.
You will receive an email containing an activation code and simple instructions on activating your account, which you will need to do if you want to log in to finish a saved application or check the status of an application you've submitted. You must activate your account within 90 days of submitting your registration.
4. Does my registration ever expire?
Your registration will expire if you don?t activate your account within 90 days of submitting your registration, or if you don?t access your account for 360 days.
5. I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?
If you've forgotten your password, click the ?Forgot password? link on the Logon page. You will be asked to enter your user name and to answer the secret question(s) you selected when you registered. If you answer correctly, we?ll send you an email with instructions on updating your password.
6. How long will it take to fill out the online application?
You should allow at least 20 to 30 minutes to complete the application. If necessary, you may save your information and come back later to finish.
7. What information will I have to provide on my loan application?
You'll be asked for the following information:
Personal
Financial
As we continue with the loan process after your online approval, you will need to supply us with pay stubs from your employer covering the last 30 days prior to completing the loan application.
If you are self-employed or compensated by commissions, you will need to supply your federal tax returns for the most recent year you filed and the year preceding that one (two years total).
8. How long will it take to get a response?
Once your application is submitted, a loan agent will contact you within 24 hours to confirm and discuss the information on your application.
9. What should I do if I have trouble filling out the online application?
You have two options if you run into trouble:

10. Is the online application secure? Will the information I fill out be available to other companies/vendors?
Yes, the online application is secure. All information provided to Homecomings on the application is private information and will not be shared with any unnecessary parties.
